Touched by a Butterfly-My Team Monday-Movie Nite

Mmm- I can smell the popcorn now!  Movie nights are the best.  Celeste has just released this colourful, bright creative kit just for scrapping those memories.  You can see from the preview that it contains a armful of elements and papers and goodies.  Click the link to take you to her blog and check out the freebie she has for you.  Also there is a bonus!!  Here is her message:

BONUS: If you created a layout using “Movie Nite” kit post it on the TBAB Facebook Page. I will do a random drawing Sunday July6,2014. The 3 random winners will get a free kit from my store.

Now, all that being said and done here are the two layouts I have created using this kit.

This layout features my great granddaughter Kady and her friend, King.  They love movie nights as you can see!

I don't have anyone left at home to share movie nights with me so this layout is a poster type advertising a movie. Sometimes I just love to create something outside of the ordinary.

Touched by a Butterfly-Dreaming In Summer-My Memories Summer Blog Train

Summer in a very short while and off to the playground we head!  This kit contains all the elements of playground equipment you would find at a park and great papers to match!  Lots of activities going on here for your little ones to have fun with in your scrapping pages.  Just click the link under the preview to head over to Celeste's store right now.

This layout features my granddaughter Sam.  She's climbing all over the platform and having a ball while the other children line up for their turn.

This one is my great granddaughter, Kady.  You can't pry her away when she gets into the playground.  She doesn't have any fear, other than the one time she climbed part way up a tree and couldn't get back down on her own!  Too funny.  That's for another scrap page on another day.

Touched by a Butterfly-Memories in Travel

I think we can safely say that summer has finally arrived.  I know up north in our province at Churchill, Manitoba they are calling for 20 CM of snow today!  Yikes!  But they are truly at the edge of the Arctic so they can expect this kind of thing.  That being said, here we go for a vacation/trip/holiday or just plain sightseeing and what better kit to help you out scrap those pictures is this one from Celeste entitled Memories in Travel.  I love the soft aqua and gray colours and her super elements.  It even contains a train and track!  I created 2 layouts using photos that my daughter and family took while on a trip to Banff, Jasper and other parts in Alberta last year.

Marniejo's House of Scraps-A Proud Day

Ah, June and the time of year when the flash bulbs are popping all over; capturing those beautiful young people showing off their diplomas.  And they are wearing some of the most colourful robes and mortar boards ever. Marilyn's kit reflects all this and more.  She has chosen hers to be in my favorite colour-purple! I couldn't wait to get going on this kit where I could scrap my 1st granddaughter, granddaughter, niece and great niece.

This is Charlene, my 1st granddaughter and first to graduate.

This is my granddaughter Jordan at her graduation.  Lots of smiles for the special day.

My niece Shelley on her graduation day.  Unfortunately I wasn't able to join in the celebrations but have this beautiful photo to make up for it.

And this is my great niece, Tina, daughter of Shelley.  Tina just graduated this year and had her daughter Annabelle and significant other Kevin to help her celebrate.  Love all the smiles these beautiful young ladies have and well they should.  I am proud of them all.

Marniejo's House of Scraps-Ribbons and Lace

This new kit from Marilyn of Marniejo's House of Scraps has beautiful soft pastel colours for that perfect wedding album. It is versatile enough to even use for anniversaries.  Rings, gowns, flowers and so much more along with super papers are included. Just click the link under the preview and you will be right there to purchase and get started on those photos that are patiently waiting to be scrapped.

The first layout is of my step-son Dwayne and his beautiful bride, Jane.  Here Dwayne is attempting to get the garter off so he can toss it into the group of men waiting to grab it.

Here they are signing the register after the vows were exchanged.  Someone made a comment that got him smiling!  Aren't the colours just gorgeous?

Scraps N Pieces-Bits and Pieces-Karen Diamond Designs-

It's that time of the year again when we pay tribute to all the wonderful men in our lives-those great grandfathers, grandfathers and all the males that are called Dad, Papa, Opa, Afi, Daddy and well, you get the idea. Karen had created this super kit for scrapping any of the men in your life, regardless of name or title.   It is not only great for Father's Day but is versatile for anyone of the male species with the Y Chromosome. The kit contains alphas, some great graffiti, beautiful assortment of papers, sports themes as well as some Dad pastimes such as hunting, fishing and some handy man tools.  Make sure you click the link under the preview to start shopping today.

My two layouts feature my Dad who left us quite a while ago to join his beloved wife.  He spent quite a few years before passing learning the computer and it was such a super past time for him. He even made it into the local newspaper as you can see with the first layout.  The other layout is my Dad and brother chopping wood for the stove circa maybe 1940.
